Sigourney Weaver stars in the clash between humans and aliens in Cameron’s first collaboration with James Horner, earning both Weaver and Horner Academy Award® nominations for Best Actress and Best Music respectively.
57 years after the original events of Alien, the planet where Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) first met the alien predator has been colonised. When all contact with the inhabitants is lost she joins a squad of marines to return to the planet.
