BBC Radio 3
Since 2003, Marin has had a strong presence on the BBC, culminating in 2006 with her winning the Royal Philharmonic Society's BBC Radio 3 Listeners Award. Radio 3 listeners, voting for the award, called her "a breath of fresh air in the music world", "a fantastic charismatic conductor" and praised her "boundless enthusiasm."
This season, BBC Radio 3 will again broadcast all of Marin's subscription concerts at the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra's home base in Poole (South of England). The season kicked off on 15 November with Elgar's Symphony No.1.
Marin is a frequent guest on the network, including on Radio 3's prestige talkshow "In Tune". She has also been featured on Radio 4, writing and narrating a series on music and the Industrial Revolution.
