Richard Goode begins a recital tour of Europe in May, which will see him performing a programme of Byrd, Bach, Chopin and Schubert in the Dresden Music Festival, the Kölner Philharmonie, Glyndebourne Opera House as part of the Brighton Festival, De Singel in Antwerp, the Tivoli Concert Hall and St George’s Hall in Liverpool. He will also accept an Honorary Fellowship from Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where he currently holds the International Chair of Piano Studies, in recognition of his outstanding contribution to music, when he gives a masterclass there as International Chair in Piano Studies.
