Martyn Brabbins conducts in BBC Symphony's 'Total Immersion' weekend at Barbican Centre

Martyn Brabbins conducts a major Jonathan Harvey festival at the Barbican Centre this weekend, in the BBC Symphony Orchestra’s ‘Total Immersion’ series, recorded for Radio 3. On Saturday 28 January he conducts the symphonic works Body Mandala, Messages, and Madonna of Winter and Spring, and on 29 January Harvey’s opera Wagner Dream with a prime British cast including Clare Booth and Roderick Williams. Brabbins gave the world premiere of the opera for Holland Festival/Netherlands Opera (Pierre Audi’s production) and this is the UK premiere.
