Intermusica signs internationally renowned conductor Michael Boder

Intermusica is delighted to announce the signing of conductor Michael Boder for worldwide management.

Boder has been Music Director of the Gran Teatro del Liceu in Barcelona since September 2008, and has worked regularly with the leading opera houses in Vienna, Berlin, Munich, Hamburg, Dresden, Zurich, San Francisco and Tokyo. A highly regarded interpreter of the core Germanic repertoire, Boder is an equally committed advocate of contemporary opera, and has given the world premieres of operas by Penderecki, Reimann, Cerha, Dusapin and Henze.

Renowned also for his orchestral conducting, Boder has guested with such ensembles as the Berlin Philharmonic, Ensemble Modern, Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra, Vienna Symphony, Royal Danish Opera Orchestra, Gulbenkian Orchestra, Saito Kinen Festival Orchestra, Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra and Tokyo Symphony Orchestra.
