Ben Johnson sings in Britten’s Spring Symphony at London’s Barbican

In the first of several performances of works by Britten during the composer’s centenary year, Ben Johnson joins the Crouch End Festival Chorus under conductor David Temple for a performance of Britten’s Spring Symphony at the Barbican on Sunday 20 January.

The evening’s programme is entitled ‘The Birds’ and also features Orlando Gibbons The Silver Swan, Vaughan Williams The Lark Ascending and Will Todd Ode to a Nightingale.

Later this season, Ben will make his Residentie Orkest debut performing Britten’s Serenade for tenor, horn and strings.
