Giancarlo Guerrero debuts with Monte Carlo Philharmonic and Strasbourg Philharmonic

Giancarlo Guerrero makes debuts with the Monte Carlo Philharmonic and Strasbourg Philharmonic during February. He begins in Strasbourg, conducting Copland’s Appalachian Spring and Gershwin on 3 February. The programme will also include Piazzolla’s Four Seasons of Buenos Aires, which was released by Guerrero and the Nashville Symphony Orchestra on Naxos in 2010.

Guerrero will then conduct the Monte Carlo Philharmonic at home before taking them on tour, with concerts in Geneva and at the Zurich Tonhalle and Berlin Konzerthaus. The programme will include Prokofiev Symphony No.5, Ravel Valses, Rimsky-Korsakov Sheherazade and Liszt Piano Concerto No.1 with Jean-Yves Thibaudet.
