After a busy month of rehearsals in January, February will see Rory Macdonald give five performances of Britten’s The Rape of Lucretia with Houston Grand Opera (February 3 to 11).

The following week, Rory will return to the Hallé Orchestra with whom he will give six performances over the course of ten days, including three concerts at the Bridgewater Hall in Manchester. The programmes will include orchestral works by Mozart, Sibelius and Dvorak, with pianist Martin Roscoe joining Macdonald for Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No.5 and violinist Nicola Benedetti for both Beethoven’s Violin Concerto and Bruch’s Violin Concerto No.1.
