Andrew Manze makes his debut with the Danish National Symphony Orchestra

February sees Andrew Manze making his highly-anticipated debut with the Danish National Symphony Orchestra. Manze will conduct the orchestra in a performance at the Danish Radio Concert Hall on 23 February, which will be broadcast live on Danish Radio. The programme will include Holten’s Gaudy Pageant, Beethoven’s Violin Concerto with Karen Gomyo and Schubert’s Symphony No.7 in the reconstruction by Brian Newbould.

The following week, Manze returns to the Swedish Chamber Orchestra for a four-concert tour of Germany, including a performance at the Berlin Konzerthaus on 1 March. Manze will conduct a programme of Mozart, Weber, Ives, Copland, Mendelssohn and Beethoven, and will be joined by soloists Sabine Meyer and Annelien van Wauwe.
