Major European dates for Joshua Weilerstein

Joshua Weilerstein returns to Europe for three important debuts this month. On 3 February he leads the Frankfurt Radio Symphony in a programme of Mendelssohn, Ravel, Tchaikovsky
Francesco da Rimini and Wagner
Siegfried Idyll. The concert will be broadcast live on Hessischer Rundfunk and relayed again on 14 February.
On 16 February, he will conduct the Oslo Philharmonic in a demanding programme of Beethoven Triple Concerto and Lutoslawski’s Concerto for Orchestra.
Weilerstein will then travel to Helsinki for concerts with the Finnish Radio Symphony, conducting Dvořák Symphony No.8 and Ravel’s Piano Concerto for the Left Hand with soloist Jean-Efflam Bavouzet.
