Iain Paterson sings in Die Meistersinger with the Hallé Orchestra & Elder

On February 10, Iain Paterson debuts as Hans Sachs in a concert performance of Act 3 of Wagner’s Die Meistersinger von Nürenberg with the Hallé Orchestra conducted by Sir Mark Elder. The cast also includes Intermusica artists Matthew Best as Pogner and David Stout as Fritz Kothner as well as soloists Daniel Kirch, Emma Bell, Allan Clayton, Christopher Purves.

This performance will take place at The Bridgewater Hall, Manchester.

Later this season, Iain Paterson returns to the Metropolitan Opera to sing Gunther in Götterdämmerung and sing his first Forrester in The Cunning Little Vixen for Opera Bergen. He will also sing Fasolt Das Rheingold at both the Staatsoper Berlin and La Scala, the latter of which will be his house debut.
