Matthew Best performs with the Oper Leipzig and Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra at the Hong Kong Arts Festival

HONG KONG -- Matthew Best jumps in at short notice to sing the role of King Marke in the Asian Premiere of Tristan und Isolde on 18 and 20 March 2011 at the Hong Kong Arts Festival. He performs with the Oper Leipzig and Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra under the direction of Axel Kober in this production by Willy Decker.
Matthew Best recently sang this role with Philharmonia Orchestra and Esa-Pekka Salonen in a European tour to critical acclaim.
