Sergio Tiempo’s debut performance with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra in June 2011 was described by the Queensland Performing Arts Centre as "one of the most sensational debuts ever". Following this success, Tiempo is invited to return for two subscription concerts with the orchestra this March and April. He will perform Rachmaninov Piano Concerto No.3 in D minor in the first concert on 30 March, and Chopin Piano Concerto No.1 in the second on 5 April. Both concerts will be conducted by Enrique Arturo Diemecke and will take place in the Concert Hall of the Queensland Performing Arts Centre in Brisbane.
On 3 April, Tiempo will also give a masterclass for students from the Queensland Conservatorium of Music at the Queensland Conservatorium Theatre.
