Peter & the Wolf Live returns to Southbank Centre this Easter. In four performances, the Oscar®-winning animated film will be screened with live orchestral accompaniment of Prokofiev’s work performed by the exciting Aurora Orchestra conducted by Nicholas Collon. The screenings will be introduced with the original Prokofiev narration performed by Mackenzie Crook (Pirates of the Caribbean, The Office).

After the performances there will be a chance to meet Hugh Welchman, the founder of Breakthru Films and one of the producers of the film, and some of the original puppets used in the creation of the stop motion animation.

The performances take place at 2pm and 4pm on Sunday 8 and Monday 9 April at the Royal Festival Hall. Tickets are available through the Southbank Centre website with tickets for children at 50% of the full price rate.
