International Tchaikovsky Competition winners tour Japan and China

This April and May, Daniil Trifonov, Narek Hakhnazaryan and Sergey Dogadin will tour across Japan and China. The three XIV International Tchaikovsky Competition winners will begin the Japanese tour with two recitals on 23 April at Suntory Hall Tokyo and 24 April at ACROS Fukuoka. They will then perform a series of concerts with the Moscow Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Andrey Yakovlev, on 26 April at Aichi Prefectural Art Theatre in Nagoya, 27April at Suntory Hall in Tokyo, 28 April at Osaka Symphony Hall and 30 April at Sapporo Concert Hall Kitara. They will perform concertos by Tchaikovsky, Mozart, Dvořák and Chopin.
Trifonov, Hakhnazaryan, and Dogadin will then travel to China to perform recitals on 1 May at Tianjin Grand Theatre and 4 May at Shanghai Grand Theatre.
Hakhnazaryan will begin this tour with a solo recital at Musashino Civic Cultural Hall in Tokyo on 21 April, performing JS Bach Cello Suites Nos.1 and 5, Ligeti Cello Sonata and Khudoyan Cello Sonata No.1.
