Hailed as one of the most promising singers of his generation, Eric Cutler has attracted the attention of the world’s major opera houses as well as gaining a notable following for both his orchestral and recital repertoire.

Highlights of the current season have included debuts at the Bayerische Staatsoper as Alfredo La Traviata, and at Minnesota Opera as Leicester Maria Stuarda. He has sung Duke of Mantua Rigoletto at la Fenice, Venice, and Raoul Les Huguenots at Teatro Real in Madrid.

Eric Cutler is currently in Belgium, singing the same part in a production of Meyerbeer’s opera at La Monnaie, Brussels. Cutler’s performance in the production, which runs until June 30, has drawn critical acclaim:

“The tenor Eric Cutler brings a winning combination of full- and head-voiced singing to the challenging role of Raoul. Soon after he sang his heart out in the fourth-act duet with Valentine — the most popular love duet of the 19th century — he shined again in Raoul’s taxing aria in Act 5.”
