Thomas Hobbs will tour with Collegium Vocale to France in mid-July, singing Bach cantatas with the group in the town of Saintes. He then travels to Italy to perform a concert of Madrigals and a recital of English songs and German lieder at the Festival Accademia delle Crete Senesi in Tuscany, just south of Sienna.

Philippe Herreweghe, who founded Collegium Vocale, is also the Musical Director of this festival, which was founded on the initiative of musicians from the Orchestre des Champs Elysées. The concerts take place in small but beautiful churches, offering an intimate atmosphere and glorious acoustics for the audiences.
