On 20 July, bass Vuyani Mlinde will make his debut at the Salzburger Festival with a performance of Haydn’s Creation with the Monteverdi Choir and Sir John Eliot Gardiner.
A regular performer with the Monteverdi Choir, Mlinde has previously performed in the same programme at Carnegie Hall, New York, the Concertgebouw, Amsterdam, and the Pisa Festival.
"Vuyani Mlinde, a bass (Raphael), was also appealing and solid, right down to that lowly depiction of an earthworm."
New York Times
"...a real find, sonorous and humorous... [Mlinde] added to the joy of the evening."
