Following a hugely successful performance with the Los Angeles Philharmonic in September last year, Sergio Tiempo returns to the Hollywood Bowl on Thursday 16th August 2012 to perform with the orchestra and Gustavo Dudamel.

Friends and fellow country-men, Tiempo and Dudamel collaborate regularly and this concert marks their first appearance together with the Los Angeles Philharmonic.

Tiempo will perform Ginastera Piano Concerto No.1 in a programme that is part of a series of concerts in August entitled ‘Americas & Americans’, Dudamel’s first festival at the Hollywood Bowl, which explores the musical traditions born from the relationship between North and South American cultures.
