Six Intermusica singers perform in Peter Grimes at the BBC Proms

Dame Felicity Palmer, Matthew Best, Leigh Melrose, Iain Paterson, Michael Colvin and newly signed mezzo Rebecca de Pont Davies will all be appearing in Peter Grimes at the BBC Proms on 24 August at The Royal Albert Hall.

This opera-in-concert performance is based on English National Opera’s sold-out 2009 production, originally directed by David Alden, which was hailed as a "superb company achievement" on its first outing.

The performance will be broadcast live on BBC Radio 3 from 7pm.
