On September 21, three gold medallists from this year’s XIV International Tchaikovsky Competition will perform with the London Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Principal Conductor, Valery Gergiev.

Daniil Trifonov (piano), Narek Hakhnazaryan (cello) and Sunyoung Seo (soprano) will open the LSO’s new season at the Barbican Centre performing an all-Tchaikovsky programme, featuring the Piano Concerto No.1, Variations on a Rococo Theme Op.33 and extracts from Eugene Onegin. This concert will be one of the first major performances outside Russia to feature the Tchaikovsky Competition winners together after the competition in Moscow and St Petersburg in July 2011.
