XIV International Tchaikovsky Competition winners perform with the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra in Suntory Hall, Japan

Four medallists from this year’s XIV International Tchaikovsky Competition will travel to Tokyo to perform a gala concert at Suntory Hall on Thursday September 8. Daniil Trifonov (first prize, piano), Narek Hakhnazaryan (first prize, cello), Sergey Dogadin (joint second prize, violin) and Elena Guseva (third prize, female voice) will perform with the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Ken Takaseki. This all-Tchaikovsky programme will include the Piano Concerto No.1, Variations on a Rococo Theme Op.33, Violin Concerto and excerpts from Eugene Onegin.
