Michael Boder conducted a characteristically eclectic concert programme at the Weimar Kunstfest on 9 September, to be broadcast on 14 September on Deutschlandradio/Kultur: Zimmermann Photoptosis, Ravel Bolero and Mahler Symphony No.1.

He is currently rehearsing Puccini’s Manon Lescaut in Graz, where on 29 September he conducts the season’s opening concert of the Grazer Philharmonic orchestra and choir with soloist Boris Giltburg, in another wide-ranging programme: Ravel G major Piano Concerto, Gershwin Rhapsody in Blue, Ives Three Places in New England and Ravel Daphnis and Chloe Suite No.2.
