Tenor Ben Johnson will jump in to perform Beethoven Symphony No.9 with Andris Nelsons and the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra this week. This last minute replacement will see him perform on 5 September at Lucerne Festival and on 7 September in Bonn Beethovenhalle. He will also perform the same repertoire with the CBSO later this season, also under Nelsons.

Ben Johnson is an ENO Harewood Artist. Highlights this season include Don Ottavio and Alfredo at English National Opera, and orchestral debuts with the London Philharmonic Orchestra and Residentie Orkest.
