The Choir of King's College, Cambridge performs in Rotterdam and Ghent

The Choir of King’s College, Cambridge, and Director of Music Stephen Cleobury look forward to their performances this September which include concerts at two of the most important festivals in Europe.
They will first perform in De Doelen Concert Hall on 14 September as part of the Rotterdam Philharmonic Gergiev Festival. The Festival’s theme is ‘Sea and You’, and the Choir’s concert will include works such as ‘They that go down to the sea in ships’ by Sumsion and ‘Like as the hart desireth the waterbrooks’ by Howells.
The Choir will then travel to Ghent for the opening day ‘OdeGand’ of Ghent Festival of Flanders on 15 September and will perform a programme in Saint Bavo Cathedral.
A week later on 23 September, they will perform as part of Grove Park Music Festival at St Nicholas’ Church, Chiswick.
