Sir Peter Maxwell Davies Concerto Accademico receives world premiere in Bologna

On 13 September 2012, Sir Peter Maxwell Davies’ new work for string quartet and string orchestra, Concerto Accademico, receives its world premiere with the Orchestra Mozart Bologna, under the baton of Pascal Rophé, at the Auditorium Manzoni in Bologna.
Co-commissioned by the Accademia Filarmonica di Bologna and the Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra, Concerto Accademico receives its German premiere in Stuttgart in March 2013.
