Leigh Melrose makes debut at Alte Oper Frankfurt

Leigh Melrose makes his Alte Oper Frankfurt debut on Saturday 8 September, giving the world premieres of three song cycles by three different composers commissioned by the opera house.
Renowned for his performances of contemporary repertoire, this season Melrose will perform Peter Maxwell Davies Eight Songs for a Mad King at the Trondheim Chamber Music Festival, Pintscher Solomon’s Garden at the Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, and the premiere of a new work by Joanna Lee with Birmingham Contemporary Music Group.
