Iain Paterson sings Figaro at English National Opera

In October bass-baritone Iain Paterson returns to the English National Opera to sing the title role in The Marriage of Figaro, a brand new production directed by the acclaimed stage and screen actress Fiona Shaw.
ENO patrons will remember Iain’s recent impressive portrayals of Amfortas Parsifal, title role Don Giovanni and Mephistopheles Faust. This time he will join an exciting young cast including Kate Valentine as the Countess, Roland Wood as the Count, Devon Guthrie as Susanna, Kathryn Rudge as Cherubin, and Mary Bevan as Barbarina. Paul Daniel conducts this all -time-favourite opera and the performances will be on October 5, 12, 14, 19, 21, 26, 27, November 3, 5 and 10.
