Eugene Ugorski debut with the Orquesta Sinfónica de Galicia

At the end of October, Eugene Ugorski will make an important debut with the Orquesta Sinfónica de Galicia with two concerts in Northern Spain. Under conductor Jun Märkl, Ugorski will perform Sibelius’ Violin Concerto in D minor, in programmes to include Liszt Symphonic Poem No.3 (‘Les Préludes’) and Brahms Symphony No.4 in E minor. The first concert, on 27th Oct, will take place in Centro Cultural Novacaixagalicia in Vigo, the second in the Palacio de la Ópera in A Coruña.
Prior to this, Ugorski will make his recital debut at the Queen's Festival, Belfast on 15th Oct, performing two Bartok Rhapsodies, Grieg Violin Sonata No. 2 and Ravel Tzigane with pianist and long-standing duo partner Konstantin Lifschitz. The recital will be recorded for broadcast by BBC Radio 3.
