Young artists Thomas Hobbs and Mary Bevan in the Classical Opera Company’s autumn highlight

Tenor Thomas Hobbs and soprano Mary Bevan will perform the roles of Alessandro and Tamiri respectively in the Classical Opera Company’s performances of Mozart’s Il re pastore at King’s Place on Friday 11 and Saturday 12 November.Ian Page, the company’s Artistic Director, conducts.
Both Thomas and Mary are Associate Artists of the company, which specialises in presenting the work of Mozart and his contemporaries by emerging young stars with its own period instrument orchestra. Another of Intermusica’s young artists, tenor Anthony Gregory, will also perform with the company in their spring production of Mozart’s Lucio Silla, in which he will sing the title role.
