Young baritone Benedict Nelson will perform the role of Joseph in Berlioz’s epic L’enfance du Christ with the Utah Symphony Orchestra in Salt Lake City on November 18. Intermusica artist Thierry Fischer conducts the orchestra, of which he is Music Director.

This will be Benedict’s US debut in a season where he has several other high profile concerts, including performances with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra in their concert performances of Tristan und Isolde in Birmingham and Paris, with the Bergen Philharmonic, with Ireland’s RTÉ Orchestra and Paul McCreesh, with the Basel Chamber Orchestra and with the Ulster Orchestra.
