Eugene Ugorski performs Weinberg Violin Concerto with the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra

Eugene Ugorski will be the first violinist to perform Mieczyslaw Weinberg’s Violin Concerto in the Netherlands, in a concert on November 4 with the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra. Conducted by Mo. Pablo Heras-Casado, the concert will take place at Vredenburg Leidsche Rijn in Utrecht and will be broadcast live by Radio 4 Netherlands.

Ugorski will then once again join pianist Konstantin Lifschitz to perform in recital at the Lakeside Arts Centre of Nottingham University on November 17. The programme will feature Beethoven Sonata No.5, Bartók Rhapsodies Nos.1 and 2, Brahms Sonata No.1 and Chausson Poème.
