Joyce DiDonato’s album Divo, Diva is included in the Best Classical Solo Album division. Released to broad critical praise, the disc was described in the Guardian as “an ideal vehicle for her glorious mezzo voice in which the most fiendish coloratura ornaments and trills sound effortless.” The nomination is just the latest praise for a disc that has earned accolades far and wide.
