    At the end of May, Jonathan Schiffman will make his debut with the Scottish Chamber Orchestra with concerts on May 26, 27 and 28 at Kirkcudbright, Langholm and Selkirk respectively. The programme will open with Haydn’s Symphony No.70 followed by Weber’s Clarinet Concerto with soloist Maximiliano Martin. Beethoven Symphony No.3, ‘Eroica’, will close the concerts.

    Jonathan Schiffman makes his debut with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra this month, conducting Brahms Piano Concerto no. 2 with soloist Martin Roscoe for a 'Discovering Music' concert at Glasgow City Halls on 28 March. Earlier in the month, Schiffman makes another debut with the Orchestre National d’Ile de France. The concert at Théâtre Alexandre Dumas will include works by Debussy, Duruflé, Ravel and Alain.
