    Leo Hussain makes his United States debut with the Indianapolis Symphony

    Leo Hussain makes his United States debut this month, conducting two subscription concerts with the Indianapolis Symphony (January 20 and 21).The programme includes Prokofiev Lieutenant Kije Suite, Shostakovics Violin Concerto No.2 and Mozart Symphony No.40. Following this Hussain returns to the UK for concerts with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic and BBC Philharmonic.

The concert features Liszt’s Two Episodes from Lenau’s Faust, Wolfgang Rihm’s Viola Concerto No.2 with soloist Tabea Zimmermann and Saint-Saëns’ Symphony No.3 (Organ Symphony).
