Brett Dean returns to Europe to attend recording sessions of his own music and to appear at the Spannungen Chamber Music Festival in Heimbach, Germany.

Brett Dean returns to Europe for the first time since the recent Berlin Philharmonic/Rattle premiere of new work Komarov's Fall, to attend recording sessions of another three of his works: Pastoral Symphony, Carlo and Water Music, with the Swedish Chamber Orchestra and the Rascher Quartet, conducted by HK Gruber. Following this, Dean appears at the Spannungen Chamber Music Festival in Heimbach, Germany, performing his own work Intimate Decisions (solo viola) in a concert which also features the world premiere of a new chamber work by Dean alongside works by Mozart.
