Sarah Tynan will sing the role of Carrie Pipperidge in Opera North’s brand new five-star production of Carousel at the Barbican in August. Directed by Jo Davies, the production received critical acclaim when it first opened in Leeds this spring. Sarah Tynan has received critical acclaim for her revival of the role of Adina in English National Opera’s Elixir of Love recently.
Immediately after the production, she will appear with the Philharmonia Orchestra in Mahler’s Symphony No.8 under the baton of Lorin Maazel at the Royal Festival Hall on October 9.
