Russell Braun makes his debut with the Washington National Symphony Orchestra under Helmut Rilling with three performances of Mendelssohn’s Elijah on 5th, 6th and 7th April, at the John F Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, in Washington D.C.

Baritone Russell Braun returns to Teatro alla Scala, Milan, as Mercutio in Gounod’s Roméo et Juliette under the direction of Yannick Nézet-Séguin this month. This acclaimed production, first staged at the Salzburg Festival, runs from June 6 to June 23.

Russell Braun makes a much welcomed return to Covent Garden as Lescaut in Massenet's Manon. Performing alongside Anna Netrebko as Manon, the production opening on 22 June is conducted by Antonio Pappano and directed by Laurent Pelly.

Russell Braun will appear as Papageno in The Magic Flute for Opera National de Paris. The opening night is 17 November and the performances conducted by Thomas Hengelbrock run through to December.

Russell Braun will appear at the Salzburg Festival this summer as Mercutio in Gounod's Romeo & Juliette. He will be part of the young and exciting cast which includes Rolando Villazón, Nino Machaidze, Mikhail Petrenko and Cora Burggraaf, under the baton of conductor Yannick Nézet-Séguin. The opening night is on 2 August.

Russell Braun returns to the Canadian Opera Company on 6 May to sing Pelléas in Debussy’s Pelléas et Mélisande. Jan Latham-Koenig will conduct and Isabel Bayrakdarian will star opposite Russell in the role of Mélisande.

Russell Braun will make his BBC Proms debut on July 21st singing the Fauré Requiem at the Royal Albert Hall with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales conducted by Thierry Fischer.
